BSW CASAC-T
I am a Master of Social Work–Advanced Standing student at Syracuse University, completing my clinical internship as part of my graduate training. I am currently engaged in Child Centered Play Therapy and Dynamic Deconstructive Psychotherapy trainings. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Child Development from Texas Christian University. I am also a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee.
I have experience supporting children, teens, and adults in school, recovery, and community settings. My work has included individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, suicide prevention education, and assisting in substance use recovery. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood.
My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I aspire to help my clients recognize and build off their strengths and provide them with tools they can use as they navigate challenges, build resilience, and move along their healing journey.
