Hi, my name is Nicole! I’m a graduate student at Utica University working toward my Master of Social Work degree and, ultimately, my LCSW. I’m excited to be completing my internship here, where I have the opportunity to work with children and their families!
Most of my experience has been working with children of all ages in a school setting, so as much as this is different for me, providing a space that is safe, supportive, and fun remains the same! I am currently working toward certification in Child-Centered Play Therapy and look forward to using play-based approaches to help children express their emotions, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills. I look forward to learning more and meeting new families!
